A Little About Me & The Farm
Hi, I’m the mama, milkmaid, and homesteader behind Winterland Acres.
Here in Northern British Columbia, my family and I are building a life centered around family, faith, homeschooling, and a deeper connection to the land. Our days are filled with cows to milk, animals to care for, gardens to grow, food to preserve, and little ones learning alongside me.

Our animals are at the heart of Winterland Acres. From milking our Jersey cows and British Guernsey goats to raising poultry, we’re learning the joys and responsibilities of caring for livestock and producing wholesome food right here at home.
Homemaking at Winterland Acres is about creating a warm, welcoming home and finding purpose in the everyday work of caring for our family. From cooking and preserving to creating simple rhythms and making things by hand, we’re embracing the beauty of a slower, more intentional home life.
Homeschooling at Winterland Acres is woven into the rhythm of our everyday life. We embrace a gentle, nature-rich approach that lets our children learn through books, hands-on experiences, the seasons, and the many lessons that come from growing up on a working homestead.
